Stone Hill Dalmatians began in 1987 when we purchased our first beautiful gal, "ESHA" (A Buffrey Jobee Granddaughter) was soon to become ESHA OF STONE HILL CDX NA. We started in obedience competition, and quickly got the bug for breed/conformation. Esha produced our first Bred by Champion -- "TANK" -- Am/Can CH Sir Alfred Of Stone Hill CDX OAJ AX RD (sired by CH Starfire's Ursa Major).
Stone Hill Dalmatians are very versatile, excelling not only in breed competition, but also in performance events such as OBEDIENCE, AGILITY, TRACKING and ROAD TRIALS.
The temperament is stable and kind. The type is classy and the loyalty is always 100%! We strive to produce QUALITY Dalmatians that are competitive in all venues!
All of our Dalmatians are part of the family and raised in our home in a family environment. Each dog is thoroughly tested for genetic diseases before they are bred. Testing includes an x-ray examination of hips and elbows (OFA), blood tests for thyroid function, BAER testing, and an examination of the eyes by a board certified Ophthalmologist.
At Stone Hill Dalmatians, the main focus in our breeding program is soundness and temperament. We strive to produce dogs that will excel in any activity you choose to pursue, whether it is conformation, agility, obedience, road trials, or as a cherished family pet. We have produced dogs who have obtained advanced titles in Obedience, Agility, Tracking and Road Trials.
